I enjoyed his Brittish accent....
Last night's guest speaker, Rae Galloway, ministered efffectively to our church folks. He and his wife, Ruth, are pastors in South Wales, Great Brittain. I enjoyed his regional Brittish accent tremendously, as well as his Brittish humor (pardon, meant to spell it "humour"!). Took me a while to figure out that when he said "flootful", he meant "fruitful" :-)
Cheeri-O!
Hahaaaa - I thought the Pastor said men wearing "tacky" pants and it was not until the end that it all came together for me. I was thinking ..man..... those three or four guys that stood up saying they were wearing "tacky" pants were very brave. The joke was on me. What a great speaker. What a positive and powerful message mixed with humor. It smacked be between the eyes and made me do some real searching about my "forget" mode. Whoa and Wow.
