Deliciously gooey chocolate frosting

My wife really enjoys preparing homemade desserts for our monthly church board meetings.  For tonight's meeting, she hit a homerun!  She baked a mean chocolate cake that was covered with a "made-from-scratch" deliciously gooey chocolate frosting and pecan bits.  Folks, this frosting was like melted fudge chocolate!  The recipe was taken from an old-timey receipe book she owns.  I think almost everyone ate two pieces (I had already eaten my portion before coming to the church).  The challenge tonight for everyone was to stay focused on church business while experiencing a tremendous "sugar high"!
