The Holy Ghost "Squeeze"

I had a really nice visit this PM with one of the new attenders at church.  Tim Healy is the Executive Chef at the Westchase Marriott Hotel, and has been coming to FLAG since the beginning of this year.  About a month or so ago, he was gloriously baptized in the Holy Spirit at church as he sat in the service.  Originally from NJ, Tim has worked as "top chef" at some of the finest hotels in the Northeast and Canada prior to relocating to Texas.

But it was his intriguing story of how he came back to the Lord less than a year ago that captivated my attention.  Long story short, God put the "squeeze" on him through difficult circumstances while working at the Omni in Corpus Christi, until Tim surrendered to Him.  It's amazing to see how this tough, burley "biker" from Jersey now has such a tender heart for the Lord.

So glad for the "Holy Ghost Squeeze" that has graciously redirected the paths of so many people I know!

PS:  Interesting tidbit...Tim's pastor in Corpus was my wife's youth pastor years ago!  Truly a small world.
