Michael Callender

Today I am attending a special "Celebration Service" to honor the life on earth of Michael Callender, who died unexpectedly this week at the young age of 56.  He was a wonderful Christian man, very active in the community, and a friend to many.  Mr. Callender was a successful CPA, and had worked with many ministries and well-known preachers, such as Ed Young Jr.  One of our ladies, Patti Scoggins, has worked for him as an accountant for years.

I used the term "his life on earth" simply because death is only a "comma".  Michael Callender had given his life to Jesus Christ.  He's now with the Lord.  We will all miss him terrible...but only for a short while.

Keep his wife and family in prayer.  Only God can comfort with a "peace that passeth all understanding"

The same day that Mike Callender passed on, Mona Gonzalez lost her great grandbaby. This little boy was only 2 years old and died from congestive heart failure. It is so true that no matter your age, life is so short.
