Real life. Real ministry. Real stuff

This afternoon I was notified of someone that had a heart attack this AM, and is having emergency triple bypass surgery.  Suddenly the paperwork I was working on became meaningless, and instead I began to intercede for this brother.  Real life.  Real ministry.  Real stuff.

The Bible tells us that "life is but a vapor".  It doesn't matter how many vitamin pills you swallow each day, or how many push-ups you can do, these sudden events remind us that eternity is just one breath away.

"Only a fool believes that tomorrow is promised".  Oh, that we would live each day fully for the Lord.

Condolances,Love and Prayers to Our Church Members Who Have Lost Loved Ones and Special People in Their Hearts and Lives. A friend lost her childrens father very unexpectly this last week. There were no final hugs, or kisses for her or their children. No make-up words for the two of them. I am sooo guilty of taking time, people, and live for granted. There is a persistant Whisper in my ear, reminding me that the real "reality show" Jesus, Our Saviour, Our Eternal Life Giver, Our Lord, is where my focus should be.
