It's a 1930's era silky blue tie...
This morning I wore a very special tie. It was purchased about 15 years ago at a unique and popular vintage shop near my almar mater, NYU, during one of my business trips to Manhattan. It's a 1930's era silky, blue tie with a unique tone-on-tone design, with an "Art Deco" feel. Frankly, they just don't make classy ties like that anymore. It seems that people during that time dressed very classy. The men always seemed dapper, event when taking the garbage out! Hopefully, the current casual dress fad will run its' course soon.
BTW, a couple of observant church folks, Scott and Leann Cryer, noticed that I was wearing this vintage tie.
