This past Sunday I concluded a 2-part sermon series titled, "8 Reasons Why Trouble Comes to God's People". I presented eight Bible-based explanations for the trials and tribulations we face in this life. As I wrapped up the final point, the Lord suddenly dropped in my spirit a "bonus" reason that was probably the heaviest of all of them.
"Sometimes God allows trouble in our lives with the intent of never revealing to us the reason for its existence; at least, not while we're on this side of heaven."
Uh? Why is that?! Simply because God desires that we ask the most important question while on earth. Not why. Not when. Not how. But...WHO.
Him ...the answer to all of our questions, lies with Him - easier said than done - but worth every step and stumble.
