I am loving Mardell's, the new Christian bokkstore in Katy. Today we spent some time browsing and purchasing books, gifts and greetings cards for the church. It's amazing how one can easily lose track of time in this place. The ambiance is so peaceful and relaxing. I especially love reading bios, so this section is one of my favorites. It is not uncommon for us to run into folks we know, though today we didn't. Oh, by the way, they offer complmentary gourmet coffees for shoppers!

Beware of Eddie and Patricia sneaking up on you in there and Eddie announcing THIS IS GOD - ARENT YOU SUPPOSSED TO BE WORKING? and then the giggles that could belong to one person only....Sister Patricia....they sooooo busted me! Be sure to check out the art clearance section at the front of the store and the dollar items posted on the check outs. WONDERFUL STAFF and MANAGEMENT
